Me: "Is your belt too tight?"
Xander: No, why?"
Me: Because you said your waist hurts."
Xander: "No, it hurts INSIDE."
Me: "Oh, like, you're hungry?"
Xander: "Yeah."
Me:"Mmm, me too."
Xander: "Cause your belt's too tight?"

I have these conversations all the time. Sometimes I wonder if my kids are messing with me on purpose. I can't tell if we've hit that stage yet. Until I know for sure I just have to suck in.
haha, I laughed out loud.... a couple times! I love Joni's comment, kids are too funny!!
somedays I swear.... magical dumpsters, belts too tight... funny kids. are you able to laugh at them by the end of the day or are you so tired of their nonsense that it isn't funny anymore?? I think my kids are funnier when someone else notices it first. Like you for instance.
